Land clearing
Land clearing in Polk County
Overgrown lots, back corners nobody has touched in years, fence lines lost in vines. Cleared, hauled and ready for what is next.
Sounds familiar?
- A lot you cannot walk

Land clearing, done with detail
Central Florida land gets away from people fast. Brush, palmetto, vines and volunteer trees can swallow a back corner or an empty lot in a couple of seasons. Land clearing takes it back to open ground, with the debris hauled off instead of left in piles.
People clear land for a reason: a new fence line, a shed or pad, a garden, getting a lot ready to sell, or just being able to walk the whole property again. Knowing the goal decides how far the lot clearing goes, from brush clearing only to taking out small trees and stumps.
Some clearing touches trees, wetlands or lake edges that the city or Polk County has rules about, so those questions get answered before work starts, not after.
Once it is open, it is easy to keep it that way: regular lawn care for the cleared ground, fence installation along the new line, or landscaping to turn it into usable yard.

Questions
Land clearing: common questions
What does land clearing include?
Brush, vines, palmetto, small trees and debris cleared and hauled away. How far it goes depends on what the land is for next.
Do I need a permit to clear my land?
Sometimes, especially near protected trees, wetlands or lake edges. Those rules come from your city or Polk County, and they get checked before work starts.
Can you clear just a fence line?
Yes. Opening up a fence line or one back corner is a common small clearing job.
