Irrigation, done with detail
Most lawn problems in Polk County come back to water. A sprinkler system that sprays the sidewalk, misses a corner or runs at the wrong time wastes water and still leaves brown patches. Sprinkler repair usually starts with running every zone and watching what each head actually does.
Common fixes are simple: a broken or buried head, a nozzle that is the wrong size for its zone, a leaking line, a valve that sticks, or a controller that lost its schedule. Bigger jobs add a new zone for a bed that never gets watered, or redo coverage after new landscaping goes in.
Florida law requires automatic sprinkler systems to have a working rain sensor or similar shut-off device, so the system skips a cycle after a good rain. If yours is missing or dead, it is a quick fix that saves water every summer.
Watering days are set by your city or county and they can change, so we set the controller to your current days and times. Once the water is right, regular lawn care keeps the grass thick, and new landscape installation can be zoned in from the start. Tick it in the Yard Planner with anything else the yard needs.

Questions
Irrigation: common questions
Why does my lawn have dry spots even though the sprinklers run?
Usually a head is broken, blocked, buried or spraying the wrong way, or the zone has mismatched nozzles. Running each zone and watching it shows the cause quickly.
Do I need a rain sensor on my sprinkler system?
Florida law requires automatic sprinkler systems to have a working rain sensor or similar shut-off device. It stops the system from running after rain.
Which days can I water in Winter Haven?
Watering days are set by your city or county and can change during dry spells. Check your utility’s current rules, and we will set your controller to match.
